Everyone’s talking about peptides right now.
You’ve probably heard about them—on a podcast, from a friend, or scrolling online.
Fat loss. Longevity. Faster recovery. It all sounds amazing.
And to be clear… I’m not against peptides.
The science is real.
There are dozens already approved, and more being studied.
But here’s what’s been sitting with me lately…
We’re moving too fast… and skipping the foundation.
Right now, we’re in what I would call a wellness gold rush.
Everyone wants results quickly.
And when demand moves faster than regulation… things get messy.
A lot of what’s being sold online right now?
- Unverified sources
- Questionable quality
- Products labeled “for research only” but marketed to everyday
people
And when researchers actually tested some of these products?
They found:
- Low purity
- Incorrect dosing
- Even contamination
That’s not just ineffective… that’s risky.
But here’s the part that really made me pause…
While everyone is chasing advanced solutions…
Most people are still missing the basics.
- Not enough
fiber
- Not enough omega-3s
- Low magnesium
- Low vitamin D
These aren’t “extra” things.
These are the things that support your metabolism, your energy, your gut, your hormones… your entire foundation.
So before we jump to the next big thing…
I always ask:
👉 Have we supported the body first?
Because for most women
over 40…
You will see more change from:
- Getting enough protein
- Supporting your nervous system
- Nourishing your gut
- Replenishing key nutrients
…than from jumping straight into advanced protocols.
This is where I always start (and what I’m focusing on right now):
- A clean, high-quality protein
- Magnesium for stress + recovery
- Vitamin D
for overall health
- A strong probiotic for gut support
Nothing flashy.
But powerful when done consistently.
You don’t need to do everything.
You just need to build a stronger foundation… and then decide what your next step looks like.

GLP-1 UP - ADVANCED METABOLIC HEALTH SUPPLEMENT
I’ve been exploring this as a more natural way to support metabolism and overall balance before jumping into more extreme options.
